Bass Hat

My latest character, BassHat. Inspired wholly and completely by my twin loves: huge headphones and techno music, which I am currently obsessed with.

The original picture of BassHat is still unfinished (goddamnit, the pose is so damn hard, I've been working on it for weeks) but this is another pic drawn on the bottom of my school timetable. School timetable paper = great for drawing on, but soaks up ink like a sponge. As such, the lineart went everywhere, and I'm not too happy with it. I am definately switching to a thinner inking pen.

But anyway. The headphones are connected to the sides of his top-hat (explaining the name) and if you're wondering what's coming out of his hat, they're the lines that music is drawn on - I forget the exact name. He bends the music to his will, because it goes straight through his brain and intertwines with his thoughts. Because of this, he's very eccentric, very distant, doesn't talk much; lets the music talk for him.
