Okay, so I haven't updated or in fact visited this site at all in nearly half a year. I have a reason, though.

See, the reason I joined this site in the first place was in the hope that it would motivate me to finish art faster, and in the process help me improve at a faster rate.

Well, one of them happened. Notably, I'm improving at a faster rate, but I'm finishing art just as fast as I was before, which was not very fast. So not very fast, in fact, that my art style can change drastically over the course of trying to finish one picture, and that just doesn't work. I have several pictures in waiting at the moment which are simply impossible to finish, because my art style has changed so drastically.

My very-very-small update is just an idea of how much my style has changed - I would like to show you a more detailed, finished picture, but I know I'd never be able to finish it.

All the art I have on this site makes me cringe now. The huge backlog of deviations and messages I've accumulated in my time away also makes me cringe. Iugh.

So, for anyone who bothered to read all of that, that's the reason I haven't been updating.
